As the current head of the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), Air Force chief Marshal FH Bambang Soelistyo has been at the forefront of the operation to locate and retrieve wreckage and bodies from AirAsia flight QZ8501, which crashed into the waters of the Karimata Strait on Dec. 28, 2014.
Your comments:
Is this a possible minister in the near future? Would he have the qualities for ministerial leadership?
This disaster will be ongoing for quite sometime. Hopefully, Bambang and his boys will stay focused until it is resolved. I feel that sometime soon the public needs to get together and support the people involved.
The wheat has been sorted from the chaff, so let's keep the ball rolling. Well done, chief, the nation salutes you.

To FH Bambang Soelistyo, Sir, you have very special and rare qualities. You authenticate your thoughts in a methodical and easy to understand fashion, giving the listener a clear idea of your announcements.
I felt this clarity on the first day when I watched how you described the activities happening on the ground. You have impressed the nation and I congratulate you for a great job done, plus kudos to all your hard-working staff.
