Wulan Purwono and Indri Puteri both share a love of animals. The two women met through an organization for animal lovers and bonded quickly despite the fact that Wulan is on #teamdog and Puteri is on #teamcat.

As two friends who treat their pets as family members, they saw that most animal care facilities were not up to standard when it came to taking care of animals while their owners were away from home. So they decided to open a hotel for dogs and cats named Savvy Pet Hotel.

'€œWe had one dog who couldn'€™t take the stairs and the owner asked us to carry it upstairs and downstairs,'€ recalled Wulan.

'€œThe dog was huge so we asked the owner whether we could train it to go up and down the stairs on its own.'€

For animal lovers who wish to only visit the place, the hotel also has a pet-friendly café and a small shop where people can come with their pets to enjoy food or buy cute outfits for their beloved cats and dogs. (kes)(+)
