T

wo more bullets were found in the offices of lawmakers in the Nusantara I building of the House of Representatives complex in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, following similar findings at two lawmakers' offices in the same building on Monday.

The bullets were found by staff members in the office of National Mandate Party (PAN) lawmaker Totok Daryanto on the 20th floor and that of Democratic Party member Vivi Sumantri Jayabaya on the 10th floor.

Gerindra Party lawmaker Sufmi Dasco said he received reports of the bullets at around 11:30 a.m. The bullet in Totok's office was found in a window but did not penetrate it, while the bullet in Vivi's office was found lodged in a cabinet.

Dasco said it was possible that the two bullets were related to the same incident as that on Monday, as neither of the lawmakers had been in their offices for the past few days.

On Monday, House speaker Bambang Soesatyo and the Jakarta Police said the bullets were accidentally shot from the nearby Indonesian Shooting and Hunting Association (Perbakin) shooting range. The police had arrested two men, identified only as IAW and RMY.

"As far as I know the shooting range has been closed these past two days," Dasco said on Wednesday.

Central Jakarta Police officers are investigating the incident.
