Guess what?: Reza opens up on his time teaching

A

ctor Reza Rahadian spent some time teaching theater at the University of Indonesia several months ago and his classes became a viral sensation.

“That was the first time that I’d ever gone through the experience of teaching. When I went in, the students were talking among themselves about my presence; some were excited, some were shocked, some were confused […] there was a lot of feelings going on,” the actor said as quoted by kapanlagi.com.

He admitted that the experience was a unique one that he had never gone through before. It was during the class that he developed a kind of nostalgia for his time at campus and the learning atmosphere that he grew to love.

“Looking back at that event, I miss the students the most. The funniest thing of it all is that I saw a whole other process and approach to acting. I usually just read scripts at home and visualize my own performance, and now I had to mark the students’ performances. It was so much fun!” he added.
