eflecting back as the year comes to a close, renowned Indonesian actor Lukman Sardi has said he has tried his best at everything he has done in his career, as a parent, as a friend and as a son.
“Career-wise, I never set out a target, like the number of films that I’ll do in a year or aiming for a specific award, but, rather, it is how I can do something wholeheartedly, and that’s the most important thing,” he told The Jakarta Post.
“If I ever felt like I haven’t achieved something, then that means I haven’t pushed myself enough to get to that point.”
However, Lukman said life was not without regrets. “Regrets that got me like, ‘How did it turn out this way?’. However, you can’t just live with regret,” he said.
Next year, he said there would be more projects to come. Orang Kaya Baru (Nouveau Riche) will hit theaters in January and, of course, a lot more filming will take place,” Lukman said.
