he Tangerang administration’s bus rapid transit system Trans Tangerang is set to integrate with Transjakarta corridor 13, serving the Ciledug to Blok M route to boost connectivity.
Tangerang Transportation Agency head Syaiful Rohman said the agency would add four new Trans Tangerang routes this year.
“One of them will serve Ciledug to Poris Plawad,” Syaiful said on Thursday as reported by kompas.com.
Transjakarta corridor 13, operated by Jakarta-owned PT Transjakarta, has its final bus stop in CBD Ciledug. The planned new route will make a stop at the Transjakarta CBD Ciledug bus stop before heading to Poris Plawad, he added.
The other three routes are Cadas to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Pinang to Poris Plawad and Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to Poris Plawad.
The Tangerang administration currently operates two corridors for Trans Tangerang, which are Poris Plawad to Cibodas and Poris Plawad to Jatiuwung. Launched in 2016, the service runs with 10 busses for each corridor. (sau)
