orld number one Ariya Jutanugarn can breathe freely for a while as she has inched closer to making her dream come true of winning her first title in Asia after finishing top of the leaderboard in the third round of the 2019 HSBC Women’s World Championship at Singapore’s Sentosa Golf Club.

The 23-year-old Thai, who has never won a title in Asia before, repeated her first day's accomplishment when she recorded a bogey-free game. With an impressive six birdies in her pocket on Saturday, Ariya sits at the top of the standings with 11-under-par 205.

“I'm getting a lot better because my first two rounds, I felt like I can't really do, but today makes me feel -- finally I made some,” she said commenting on Saturday's performance.

“You know, one of my dream [of winning in Asia], maybe start like five years ago. I really want to win in Asia because I never have,” she added.

Ariya has lifted 10 trophies since her rookie year back in 2015.

World number three Minjee Lee and Brito Jodi Ewart Shadoff, who both teed off alongside Ariya, trail the Thai by one and two shots respectively.

World number two Sung Hyun Park once again failed to be consistent. Carding five birdies in the front nine, Sung went on to sink two bogeys in the back nine, meaning that she finished 7-under-par.

In Friday’s round, Sung also experienced a similar situation, as she made four impressive birdies in the front nine but fell drastically on the second half of the course as she carded four bogeys.
