Greater Jakarta: ‘Spirit’ behind stabbing incident

A man who allegedly stabbed a fellow Transjakarta passenger in East Jakarta did so because he felt offended by people who sit cross legged, police have said. Kramatjati Police chief Comr. Nurdin A Rahman said the perpetrator, identified as Sudirman, stabbed a 29-year-old passenger who was sitting next to him cross-legged at a bus stop in Cawang on Thursday. “He is bothered by people sitting with their legs crossed. He felt offended,” Nurdin said on Thursday as quoted by kompas.com. East Jakarta Police chief Sr. Comr.
