The Health Ministry announced 4,917 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the total number of infections nationwide to 516,753.

According to data released by the ministry on Thursday, 127 more people have died of the disease, bringing the death toll to 16,352.

The total number of recovered patients has also increased to 433,649.

The ministry reported that 38,162 people were tested on Thursday, bringing the total number of people tested to 3,690,126.

The capital city recorded 1,064 new confirmed cases, bringing the total tally to 131,525. Meanwhile, West Java reported 776 new cases, Central Java 559, East Java 390, West Sumatra 307 and Central Kalimantan 222.

The virus has spread to all of the country's 34 provinces. (kmt/kuk)
