Krakoff's reputation is well-established, with creative leadership roles at renowned brands like Coach and Tiffany & Co.

"John Hardy takes immense pride in its authenticity and community values, and I eagerly anticipate contributing to the company's prosperity while honouring the brand's unwavering dedication to sustainable luxury practices and the art of craftsmanship," said Schmitz. "I am enthusiastic about working closely with Reed and the talented team as we build upon John Hardy's artisan heritage to propel growth."

"With his curated expertise and his alignment with our culture, we are confident that Patrick is the right leader to guide John Hardy through this next chapter," he emphasized.

Schmitz went on to share his particular enthusiasm for the Indonesian market, where the brand was born. "Our roots run deep in Bali, and I see immense potential for growth right here in our birthplace. Indonesia's rich culture and vibrant spirit provide a fertile ground for us to cultivate and nurture our brand. We are excited to strengthen our presence in this market and to form deeper connections with our local artisans and customers."

Schmitz is committed to a global expansion strategy that respects the brand's heritage while aligning with contemporary luxury preferences. He highlighted a special focus on Indonesia, the birthplace of the John Hardy brand, emphasizing the country's rich culture and the brand's potential for growth in its home market.
