ctor Park Seo-joon said in an interview with Elle Korea that he experienced a wider spectrum of emotion while filming for KBS2’s upcoming period series “Hwarang: The Beginning.”
When asked about challenges he faced while acting in a historic series for the first time, he said he “had braced for the challenges.”
“The emotions I had while filming were fresh to me, as I never experienced them in contemporary series I had worked on,” Park said. “I wonder how they show on the small screen.”

On fears about not reaping the success of the pre-produced series, Park said he was free from the burden.
“(Making an achievement in a series) is not a thing I can make a difference on,” he said. “I would be glad if what I did would end in success, but sometimes I should admit that the efforts I dearly put in do not always fulfill my dream.”
Park, who finished filming for “Hwarang” on Sept. 2, showed off his yellow hair in the pictorials, against the backdrop of alleys in Los Angeles, California. He dyed his hair black again later in September.
“Hwarang” is poised to hit the airwaves in December.
More details on the interview and the photo spread will be available in the October issue of Elle Korea.
