“Om Telolet Om” is a popular Indonesian phrase used by the younger generation.
GOT7’s BamBam on Wednesday asked his fans what the “Om Telolet Om” comments they left on his social media meant.
“Om Telolet Om” is a popular Indonesian phrase used by the younger generation.
Om, meaning ‘uncle’ or older men in general, is used to refer to bus or taxi drivers and telolet means to honk the horns of a vehicle.

Om Telolet Om literally translates to ”Driver, honk, driver.“
The phrase, according to BamBam’s fans, came about from vagrant kids who thought the local bus or truck drivers’ customized vehicle horns that blared music or other funny sounds were funny.
The kids, tiring of their old playthings, soon began to chase after buses chanting Om Telolet Om to the drivers, asking to be entertained.
Recently, Indonesian fans have started to bombard K-pop stars’ social media with Om Telolet Om comments, which is now their way of asking for something fun.
Can someone tell me
What is "OM TELOLET OM" mean?
