ashion is an exciting industry as it full of surprises. However, one would have never expected that the surprise could be furry Crocs.
Commonly referred as “ugly” shoes, the clogs are not everyone’s cup of tea. Tim Gunn, fashion consultant and mentor of television show Project Runway, once pointed out the rubber clogs' resemblance to hooves.
Despite the rejection from fashion enthusiasts, Crocs are deemed to be comfortable footwear commonly worn by kids, gardeners or cooks, such as Mario Batali.
Amid the controversy, Scott-born fashion designer Christopher Kane has brought Crocs to the runway. During London Fashion Week last year, the designer presented his ready-to-wear 2017 Spring/Summer collection that comprised printed tops, metallic skirts and marble pattern crystal-covered Crocs, which were selling for US$299.55. Mashable called the collection "sparkly monstrosity".

Clearly, Kane could not care less about other people's opinions as he recently showcased Crocs with fluffy fake fur as part of his fall 2017 collection,

According to Metro the designer said that furry Crocs made the perfect accompaniment to printed dresses.
The appearance of fur-lined Crocs arguably stole the thunder. AOL reported how the black, white and brown rubber clogs had even drawn the attention of Katy Perry as the entire audience looked toward the floor.
Although the marble Crocs attracted controversy, Glamour predicts the fur-lined Crocs just might be a hit. (kes)
