Poor anger management affects your relationships and your sleep.

According to independent.co.uk, a recent study from Iowa State University reveals that people who cannot control their anger are likely to experience more unhealthy sleeping conditions, compared to those who are happier.

The research project, available on Journal of Research in Personality, observed the sleeping habits of 436 adults for a week. The participants were then asked to fill out questionnaires based on their anger level. The results showed that participants who bottled up their anger tended to have trouble sleeping.

Some factors might cause this behavior. When people get angry, there is an increase in cardiovascular activity that makes it more difficult to fall asleep. (wir/asw)
