potify is collaborating with merchandise e-commerce firm Merchbar to make artists' merchandise more accessible by displaying it on their profile page.
Merchbar has since worked with artists like pop singer Maggie Lindemann to provide a platform to sell the artist’s beauty products on her Spotify page.
According to Forbes, previously fans were only able to purchase items that were available for purchase at the artist’s concerts, such as T-shirts, CDs, vinyl records, and others.

TechCrunch noted that Lindemann would get a cut from the sales of makeup, which is a partnership with beauty brand Pat McGrath Labs, but Spotify would not get a percentage of the revenue.
Lindemann’s cosmetic line, titled “So Obsessed”, echoes her new album’s new single “Obsessed,” which will be released on Nov 17. (ezr/kes)
