Celine Dion is postponing her March and April concert dates in Las Vegas because of an ear condition that has affected her hearing.
Dion will undergo a minimally invasive surgical procedure to treat the condition called Patulous Eustachian tube (PET), "which causes hearing irregularities, and makes it extremely difficult to sing".

"My luck hasn't been very good lately... I've been so looking forward to doing my shows again and this happens," said Dion. "I just can't believe it! I apologize to everyone who planned to travel to Las Vegas to see my show. I know how disappointing this is, and I'm so sorry."
While the shows from March 27 to April 18 have been cancelled, Dion is expected to return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on May 22.
In the meantime, she is still scheduled to perform for the first time in Indonesia on July 7 at Sentul International Convention Center in Bogor, West Java. (wng)
