tranger Things fans will soon get to discover what exactly happened to Will Byers in the Upside Down, thanks to a new graphic novel series by Dark Horse, NME reported.

Readers will follow Will as “he enters a dimension of decay and destruction where he must use his wits and resolve to dodge the pursuit of the Demogorgon and escape the Upside Down.”

The popular Netflix's show tells the story of a group of teenagers who encounter otherwordly events in their hometown.

The official Dark Horse Instagram account posted a photo featuring all four covers of the comic’s first installment, with the main one by artist Aleksi Briclot, another designed by Rafael Albuquerque, a third from visual artist Kyle Lambert and a final photo-variant cover from Patrick Satterfield and Netflix.

In the same caption, Dark Horse confirmed that the series would be written by Jody Houser, Stefano Martino, Keith Champagne, Lauren Affe and Nate Piekos.

“Dark Horse is known for championing stories and storytellers. We are so excited to work with Netflix to bring the world of Stranger Things to comics,” said Mike Richardson, Dark Horse president and founder.

Stranger Things #1 is the first release in a four-part series and will be available in September this year. (sul/wng)
