Letter: BNI clarifies

We express our gratitude for the publication of a report about BNI on July 31, page 13, and for the mutual cooperation between BNI and The Jakarta Post so far.

In connection with the article titled "SBY, Kalla relatives clash over bad loans in BNI," we express our regret. We could not accept the heading of the news story.

The report on credit restructuring of PT Semen Bosowa Maros, which is connected to family issues and politics, is an interpretation of the Post and did not come from the Public Expose BNI on July 29.

Credit for PT Semen Bosowa Maros has been implemented since 1996, BNI is part of a bank syndication led by Bank Mandiri.

With the publication of this letter, we hope that the PostMs readers will receive proportional information about the issue.

Thank you.
