UKI - UPI YAI students fighting again

JAKARTA: Another fight between students of Indonesia Christian University (UKI) and Indonesia Persada University (UPI) broke out Thursday afternoon, with a student reportedly injured while traffic had to be rerouted.

According to several news reports, the fight broke out at around 3 p.m. after students from both campuses provoked each other, waving bottles and bricks as if preparing to strike.

The police, who were already at the scene when the students began provoking each other, had to reroute traffic when the fight broke out. Drivers passing through Jl. Diponegoro, which separates the two schools, were told to take a detour through Jl. Proklamasi to avoid getting hit.-JP
