AKARTA: Police have accused an unnamed 46-year-old woman of teaching her 15-year-old child to peddle drugs.
Police arrested the resident of Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, after receiving a tip-off from residents in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta, where she was believed to have several customers.
Police raided her home Friday, where they found packages of crystal methamphetamine.
"I had to *train the child* because I don't have anyone else to help me," the woman said as quoted by news portal vivanews.com.
Police took the woman and her child in for questioning.
West Jakarta Police anti narcotics chief Sr. Comr. Kristian Siagian said the woman was the spouse of a drug dealer currently serving time in Cipinang Penitentiary, East Jakarta.
