AKARTA: Ford Fiesta, Ford Motor's latest vehicle, is expected be released in Jakarta in the middle of this year.
PT Ford Motor Indonesia said in Jakarta on Thursday the all-new Ford Fiesta would be officially launched in Jakarta in July and was expected to further boost the company's sales in Indonesia.
"Ford fiesta's specs and price will be announced at the pre-launch on May 1, 2010," Ford Motor Indonesia president director Will Angove said in a press briefing.
Will said the company also planned to open nine new outlets in several key areas in Greater Jakarta, including Pluit, North Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, Cibubur and Bogor, as well as Prabumulih in South Sumatra, Yogyakarta, Malang in East Java and Palangkaraya in Central Kalimantan.
