he Bengkulu mayoralty administration will help expand the herbal medicine business by providing cash to producers improve the quality of the products.

Bengkulu Mayor Helmi Hasan said onTuesday that aid for the business, which creates many employment opportunities,will be carried out by providing Rp 1 billion to each village in the
mayoralty's herbal medicine production center.

'€œProvision of the funds is expected to enable business owners to strengthen their production," Helmi said as quoted by Antara news agency.

Besides providing cash, he said his administration would also provide training on managing herbal medicine production.

'€œThe assistance is expected to enable herbal medicine producers to become more independent and stronger,'€ he added. (apt)
