oted rock star and producer Ahmad Dani saidthe insurance company had refused to cover his son'€™s medical expenses becausethe company deemed his son had violated the law.

'€œThis is rather shocking for us but I am grateful that some friends have provided me with some financial assistance so I can pay the medical bills,'€ he said as quoted by kompas.com on Wednesday.

According to Dani, the medical expenses for his son reached Rp 500 million (U$ 45,000).

Dani'€™s son, who was driving underage and is identified only as AQJ or Dul, experienced severe injuries in a fatal car accident that claimed the lives of seven people on a city toll road several weeks ago.(dic)
