he National NarcoticsAgency (BNN) named former Constitutional Court chief justice Akil Mochtar asuspect for possession of marijuana and ecstasy.
Thus far, BNN investigators have questioned 15 people as witness in the case.
'We just raised his status to suspect as of today,' BNN spokesman Sr. Comr. Sumirat said on Friday as quoted by tribunnews.com.
The drugs were found during a raid by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at Akil's office in relation to a graft investigation.
Akil is being held at the KPK detention center on graft charges.(dic)
