police official has questioned the decision by Kediri's tourism agency to reopena recreational park located within the Mt. Kelud danger zone.
He said the reopening was too dangerous because the condition of the mountain remained unstable.
'The condition of the field is too risky,' deputy Kediri Police chief Comr. Alfian Nurizal said on Saturday as quoted by kompas.com.
He said he would deploy personnel to secure the site, preventing visitors reaching the unstable crater or any other potentially dangerous areas. (put/dic)
