SBC has launched a new wealth management concept for its premier clients, providing new insights on how the wealthy view their financial health and how the multiple faces of their personal economy '€” home, family, work, aspirations and endowment '€”play a role in their financial decisions.

HSBC Indonesia'€™s head of retail banking and wealth management, Siddharth Baidwan, said during the launch of the new concept on Wednesday that HSBC Premier had created a client-driven, needs-based business for the increasing number of affluent Indonesian clients with a number of customer initiatives, including market-leading digital platforms.

Baidwan cited a recent World Bank report stating that Indonesia was one of the most enticing affluent growth markets in Asia, ranking the world'€™s 10th largest economy that contributed 2.3 percent of global economic output.

HSBC'€™s global research, Baidwan added, shows that there are changing views on wealth for the aspirations and lifestyles of the affluent segment and a big rise in preferred spending that is complimented by changing lifestyle habits with bigger incomes devoted to health, social protection, insurance, retirement and endowment.

'€œTo capture opportunities presented by this shift, HSBC has repositioned its international flagship affluent proposition, Premier, to strengthen its position as a leading wealth manager in the Indonesian market,'€ Baidwan said.
