A gas explosion in a restaurant in southeast China killed four men and one woman on Friday, police said.
A total of 16 people were also injured in the explosion late morning Friday in Xiamen city in Fujian province, according to the official Xinhua News Agency. Ten of the injured were in serious condition, it reported.
Xiamen police said on their official microblog that an initial investigation suggested a gas tank exploded.
