The forum, co-organized by the Vatican and Amman-based Common Word Movement (Kalimatun Sawa'), was held from Nov. 11-13 and themed 'Working Together to Serve Others'.
The forum was also attended by other Muslim leaders: Hossein Nasr (Iran), Abdullah Scheleifer (Egypt), Mustafa Ceric (Grand Mufti of Bosnia), Shaikh Naim Ternava (Grand Mufti of Kosovo) and Ali Aref Nayed (Libya).
Meanwhile, Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, Miguel Ayuso Guixot, Mgr. Khaled Akasheh attended from the Vatican, while Vincenzo Buonomo (Italy) and Mgr. Hario Antoniazzi, Archbishop of Tunis, represented Catholic leaders.
At the end of the forum, all participants had the opportunity to meet Pope Francis at his office in the Vatican.
