AKARTA: Actress and singer Andriani Marshanda has lost custody of her daughter, Sienna Ameera Kasyafani, to her ex-husband, Ben Kasyafani.
'The panel of judges has granted the custody of the child to Ben,' Ben's attorney, Denny Kailimalang, said, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
The decision came after the Central Jakarta Religious Affairs Court granted Marshanda's request for a divorce.
While Ben was present in the courtroom, Marshanda was represented by attorney Aldilla Warganda.
'The judges said their marriage has caused a lot of trouble, so they granted Marshanda's divorce request,' Aldilla said.
Marshanda, however, was given visiting rights, according to the attorney. 'Ben and Chacha [Marshanda's nickname] have agreed to take care of their daughter together.'
