undreds of Bandung Soccer Club (Persib) supporters, known as Bobotoh, have urged the government and the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) to resolve the row between them so the national soccer league could move on.
The Bobotoh supporters, who hailed from various districts in the Greater Bandung area, marched for four kilometers from Sidolig Stadium, Persib Bandung headquarters, to the West Java provincial council building in Bandung.
Viking Persib Club leader Heru Joko said the rally expressed their concern for the current condition of national soccer.
'Soccer is natural entertainment for Indonesians, and we urge the Youth and Sports Minister to immediately reconcile and lift the ban against PSSI. Not only players, but many people's lives depend their on the competition,' said Heru on the sidelines of the rally in Bandung on Thursday.
