Guess what?: Asti Ananta cries over lost locks

Kapanlagi.com

Actress Asti Ananta felt her eyes go damp with tears when the hairdresser cut her long jet-black hair short for the Shave for Hope charity event on Sunday.

'€œI cried because this simple action could inspire so many people to donate. It really has a huge impact on others. I am happy and grateful,'€ she said as reported by kapanlagi.com on Monday.

The charity event, which was held at the Kemang Village mall in Pejaten, South Jakarta, saw TV personalities and actors have their hair shaved off or cut short in exchange for donations going toward the treatment of children with cancer.

Asti, who is also known as a TV host for music and comedy programs, said she targeted to achieve a donation of Rp 50 million (US$3,540) for her hair.

'€œThank God, I have collected more than that,'€ she said.

The event was initiated by radio and TV host Steny Agustaf.

Indra Bekti, Eddy Brokoli, Tora Sudiro, Dimas Danang, Sogi Indra Dhuaja, Ananda Omesh and Melanie Soebono also took part in the event.
