The trailer of the much anticipated movie Ada Apa Dengan Cinta 2 has been officially launched.

The movie’s official Twitter account @MilesFilms released the two-minute trailer on Wednesday, which continues the story after Cinta (Dian Sastrowardoyo) and Rangga (Nicholas Saputra) parted ways in a tear-jerking airport scene 14 years ago in the first movie. In the sequel, Cinta and her girlfriends reunite and embark on a trip to Yogyakarta while Rangga still lives in New York City.

In one – arguably the most memorable – scene, Cinta and Rangga are seen together at a coffee shop where he confesses, "Apa yang saya lakukan ke kamu itu nggak adil" (What I did to you wasn't fair), to which she replies, "Rangga, yang kamu lakukan ke saya itu jahat" (Rangga, what you did to me was mean).

Previously, producer Mira Lesmana said 14 crew members had traveled from Indonesia to shoot the film in the US, in addition to 20 local crew.

Ada Apa Dengan Cinta, released to wild box-office success and critical acclaim in 2002, launched the careers of Nicholas, Dian, Ladya Cheryl, Adinia Wirasti, Titi Kamal and Sissy Prescillia. It tells the story of Cinta, a popular high school student who falls in love with Rangga, a cool and introverted boy who loves books and poetry. (kes)

The movie is set to premiere on April 28. Check out the full trailer below:
