The ministry had previously taken part in the Sales Mission Riyadh 2018 on Monday. The sales mission is reportedly focusing on business to business (B2B) activities as local travel agents offered travel packages to travel agents in Riyadh.
During these two events, the ministry introduced several popular destinations in the archipelago, namely Aceh, West Sumatra, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, Bali and West Nusa Tenggara.
The activities were among the ministry’s efforts to welcome 20 million foreign tourists by 2019. (jes/wng)
