Jakarta’s online sale event is happening until June 26 and those interested in shopping 'til they drop should consider these tips.
hose interested in shopping online during sale periods should consider visiting virtual stores just before dawn, says Berrybenka CEO Jason Lamuda. He made the suggestion during a Jakarta Great Online Sale (JGOS) press conference in Jakarta on Thursday.
“It’s Ramadhan, so it’s better to wake up earlier before sahur [predawn meal] if you want to shop online,” he said as quoted by kompas.com, adding that online traffic would be much better as few people would access sites during that time.

The tips aimed to promote the JGOS, which is slated to lure customers with lucrative discounts and promotions. With just a few clicks, customers can enjoy discounted items from categories such as lifestyle, gadgets, beauty, travel, fashion and sports, as well as other deals on the official website.
Partnering with up to 100 online vendors, the JGOS offers a week of virtual shopping until June 26.
“As it will last for a week, e-commerce will be less likely to cause the server to go down,” said Jason. (kes)
