Following the release of the Galaxy Note 5 last year, Samsung plans to officially unveil its Galaxy Note 7 on Aug. 2.
“The Galaxy Note 7 will complement our Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, and unify our product portfolio,” the company said in a press release, which might also explain why it decided to skip releasing a Galaxy Note 6.

Rumors have circulated regarding the features that will be available on the Note 7, which are set to include improvements like additional functionality on its stylus, the S Pen, and a larger screen.
Based on news leaked in early July, the new phablet will come in three colors: black onyx, silver titanium and blue coral. TechRadar also reported that other possible features would include a microSD slot that is unavailable on the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, a removable battery, water-resistant attributes and better display quality.
