hairil Azhar, upon reading your letter in the Readers’ Forum of The Jakarta Post on Wednesday, Sept. 8, we immediately spoke to Nurhasanah, the principal of Lazuardi Global Islamic School.
For your information, the Lazuardi School performance scheduled for Friday, Sept. 3 was cancelled at 9 a.m. the same day, because of the limited equipment to support the performance and Nurhasanah was informed of the cancellation immediately.
The Lazuardi performance was scheduled to take place at 4 p.m. and was organized by Event Solutions, which was separate to the Midnight Shopping program that was fully organized by Senayan City and started at 9 p.m.
The Lazuardi performance was thus not related to the Titi Sjuman performance at all.
We hope that this explanation serves to clarify any misunderstanding.
We apologize to Senayan City for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your kind attention and Happy Idul Fitri.
