span class="caption" style="width: 198px;">KapanLagi.com/AditiaSaputraJAKARTA: The sentence request in the narcotics case of Kangen Band’s Mahesa Andhika Setiawan and Muhammad Barry Alfarizi, known as Izzy, was read at East Jakarta District Court on Thursday.
Prosecutors asked that they each serve two years in prison, which was lighter that the sentences for the rock stars’ multiple charges that were read out in court on Tuesday.
Andhika and Izzy’s lawyer Priyagus Widodo said the testimony from an expert witness from the National Narcotics Agency that suggested that Andhika and Izzy enter drug treatment helped to reduce the sentence request.
The next trial session is scheduled for next Tuesday, kompas.com reported.
