AKARTA: Publicly listed cement producer PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk reported net profits of Rp 1.06 trillion in 2011, increasing by 28.33 percent from Rp 828.42 billion in 2010.
According to its financial report submitted to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Tuesday, Holcim reaped Rp 7.52 trillion in revenue in 2011, increasing by about 20 percent from Rp 5.96 trillion year on year.
Along with increases in sales, the company also saw rising costs of sales of Rp 4.67 trillion in 2011, an increase of 25 percent from Rp 3.71 trillion in 2010. However, the company reported gains from interest income and an elimination of goodwill amortization in its financial report.
Holcim’s total assets stood at Rp 10.95 trillion in 2011, increasing from Rp 10.44 trillion in 2010. Holcim, the local unit of Zurich-based Holcim Ltd, also reported that its equity increased by about 10 percent to Rp 7.53 trillion in 2011 from Rp 6.83 trillion in 2010. Meanwhile, liabilities stood at Rp 3.42 trillion in 2011, declining slightly from Rp 3.61 trillion in 2010.
