AKARTA: South Korean actor and singer Tim Hwang is slated to perform a duet with Indonesian singer Astrid.

Tim got a rapturous reception upon arrival in Soekarno–Hatta Airport last Saturday with fans waving banners with his picture on them and screaming their adulation, kapanlagi.com reported.

Astrid, 30 years old, has released three albums since 2005 and collaborated with local bands. She has also sung on several film soundtracks.

Tim has also wrapped up a drama shoot for a movie titled Saranghae, I Love You, with Indonesian actress Revalina S. Temat. The movie is said to be a collaboration between South Korean and Indonesian artists.
