Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency will hold anti-terrorism training for public transportation workers.
Agency head Ery Basworo said on Monday that the heads of stations and terminals and employees working at Transjakarta shelters would be included in the training, which would be held with the National Police Densus 88 counterterrorism unit.
"They will be trained on how to check luggage, read people's profiles and gestures, recognize dangerous substance and to determine the level of security," Ery said, citing that other countries have introduced similar procedures.
