ity-owned PT Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta has officially signed a construction contract with MRT project tender winners, the Tokyu-WIKA consortium and Obayashi-Shimizu-Jaya Konstruksi consortium.
The Tokyu-Wika consortium has won the CP 101 and CP 102 tenders while Obayashi-Shimizu-Jaya got the CP 103 package.
The CP 101 contract is valued at around ¥14.7 billion (US$110.15 million) while the CP 102 and CP 103 are worth ¥2.2 billion and ¥1.8 billion respectively. Each contract has a duration of 243 weeks.
"With this contract signing, all the technical administration processes have been completed," MRT Jakarta president director Dono Boestami said in an official release.
