uffic Neso Indonesia has officially offered on Wednesday the StuNed scholarships for Indonesian applicants interested to study in the Netherlands next year.
StuNed, a bilateral scholarship program between the Netherlands and Indonesia with a special focus on mid-career professionals, has provided an average of 250 full scholarships annually since 2000.
The full scholarships cover post-graduate programs (application deadline set for March 15), short courses (March 1), and tailor-made training programs (March 1). There are five priority areas of the scholarship, namely water management, food security, economic sector, judicial sector and human rights.
Applicants will first need to get a letter of admission from a university in the Netherlands prior to applying for the scholarship, according to Nuffic in its press statement.
'Holland has a lot to offer to Indonesian students. Dutch universities provide more than 1,800 programs completely taught in English, which is more than in any other continental European country,' said Mervin Bakker, Director of Nuffic Neso Indonesia, in a statement.
