ndonesian Navy chiefof staff Adm. Marsetio said the navy would investigate the cause of a blast thatdamaged its warehouse in North Jakarta onWednesday.
'We are currently looking into it,' Marsetio said on the sidelines of an event in Merak, Banten, on Wednesday.
He said that the besides the warehouse, there was also a shooting field regularly used by the Navy's elite Frogmen Command (Kopaska).
According to early media reports, a warehouse belonging to the Navy exploded. Indonesian Military (TNI) spokesman Rear Adm. Iskandar Sitompul said Navy personnel had moved fast to prevent the blast from growing bigger.
No casualties were reported. (dic)
