rison guards from Muara Sabak Narcotics Penitentiary in East Tanjungjabung regency, Jambi, have caught four inmates using crystal methamphetamine, locally known as shabu-shabu, inside the prison.
'The guards caught the inmates using crystal meth in Room 04, Block B of the prison,' Jambi Police spokesperson Adj. Sr. Comr. Almansyah said on Sunday.
The four inmates are Ardi Yulistio, 23; Iwan Erwandi, 33; Parman, 42; and Riki Firmansyah, 30.
The prison guards also confiscated evidence including crystal meth inhaling equipment and two pieces of Pyrex during the raid. They later found 4.43 grams of material that they suspected was crystal meth.
'For the legal process, Muara Sabak prison is coordinating with officials from the East Tanjungjabung Police narcotics division,' said Almansyah. (ebf)(+++)
