Jakarta is cool: Nate Ruess

Jakarta left a deep impression on American musician Nate Ruess. He said the city is really cool.

'€œJakarta is very cool, I like the culture here. Many have encouraged me to visit Jakarta and it turns out that there are plenty of people here,'€ Ruess said as quoted by tribunnews.com on Monday during a press conference in Jakarta.

Ruess has chosen Indonesia as one of 12 countries where he released his first solo album, Grand Romantic.

The front man of indie pop band Fun said the album was very personal for him as it reflected all his emotional problems from heart breaks to family issues.

'€œThere were moments when I felt so depressed and I found a song when I was showering. It is a bit dramatic but that is the creative process behind 'Nothing Without Love','€ he said, referring to the first single in the album. (ika)(+++)
