One Indonesian citizen was killed in Taiwan during typhoon Soudelor.
According to a report by Antara news agency on Saturday, the victim, identified as Agung Wibowo from Tegal, Central Java, is an Indonesian migrant who worked as a fisherman on a Taiwanese ship.
Agung was killed by a falling billboard when he went outside on a bicycle to buy food near his placement house at the Suao Harbor in Yilan, ignoring the local authority's warning to stay indoors.
He was hungry and decided to go out amid high speed winds and heavy rain on Friday at 10.45 p.m.
Agung's body is currently being held at the Veteran Hospital in Yilan.
Around 2,000 Indonesian workers are said to be working as fishermen in the Yilan regency.
