Guess what?: AADC2 poster uses nostalgic design

JP/Leo

The completion of filming for the sequel to Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? (What'€™s Up with Cinta?), also known as AADC, was marked with the release of the film'€™s official poster, which uses a similar design to the poster of the first film.

Like the old poster, AADC2'€™s poster displays the faces of the main characters, Cinta (Dian Sastrowardoyo) and Rangga (Nicholas Saputra) with colorful stripes. On the new poster, however, the characters'€™ switch positions, with Rangga'€™s face displayed up close while Cinta'€™s face is shot from her side. Producer Mira Lesmana refused to elaborate on the meaning behind the poster.

'€œWe will present a colorful life story again, but with a different concept. Rangga was previously shot from his side, while Cinta from her front. We switched it up this time. You will see the meaning later,'€ she said on Monday, as quoted by kompas.com during a press conference at Senayan City shopping mall in South Jakarta.
