ion Air Group has said that its flights have returned to normal after the delays of its three flights from Adisutjipto International Airport in Yogyakarta on Sunday night.
The delays affected a Wings Air flight from Yogyakarta to Surabaya, East Java, Batik Air flights from Yogyakarta to Jakarta Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport and to Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Banten.
The planes were supposed to fly between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday night.

"The passengers flew before 7 a.m. this morning. Everything has gone back to normal today," Lion Air Group public relations manager Andy Saladin said over the phone on Monday.
He said that the passengers affected by the delay stayed in hotels paid for by the airline.
Andy said the delays were due to the commemoration of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) anniversary at Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport, which led to the closure of the airport and the overlay work at Adisutjipto International Airport. (bbn)
