Hotels to participate in Jakarta Great Sale 2017

Hotel discounts will be part of the Jakarta Great Sale Festival (FJGS) this year, which is slated for June 2-July 12.
“We have included hotels in the annual festival for the first time,” Ellen Hidayat, chairwoman of Jakarta chapter of Indonesian Shopping Center Management Association (APPBI), said on Wednesday as quoted by beritajakarta.com.
Twelve hotels across Jakarta will take part in FJGS by giving discounts to guests.
In addition, 81 shopping centers and 40 traditional markets will also participate in the festival. Last year, only 20 traditional markets joined FJGS.
“Traditional market operator PD Pasar Jaya will be involved in the festival,” said Franky Mangatas, the Jakarta administration’s economic and financial assistant.
Midnight sales are an annual staple of the month-long festival, which also includes special prizes, blood donation programs, and Instagram and blogging competitions. (kuk)
