he Transportation Ministry is set to launch on Tuesday the Greater Jakarta Airport Connexion (JAConnexion) buses, which will serve passengers traveling from Soekarno-Hatta airport to several high-end hotels and malls in Jakarta.
Greater Jakarta Transportation Body (BPTJ) chairwoman Elly Sinaga said the service, which is targeting those from middle to upper class income groups, aimed to reduce the number of private vehicles traveling to and from the airport.
"JAConnnexion will facilitate people to go to and from the airport with premium quality buses," Elly said in a press conference on Friday.

The ministry has teamed up with Perum Damri, Blue Bird, Sinar Jaya and PPD to provide the service.
On Tuesday, 92 air-conditioned micro buses with onboard wi-fi will be launched in Soekarno-Hatta airport.
Each bus can take about 20 passengers, Elly added.
For Rp 50,000, passengers can travel from the airport to several four- and five-star hotels in Sentra Kuningan, Semanggi, Dukuh Atas and Bundaran HI.
Included on the route are JW Marriott Hotel, Mulia Hotel, Ritz Carlton Hotel, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kempinsi Hotel and Borobudur Hotel.
They can also travel to Mall Taman Anggrek, Plaza Senayan, and Mall Kelapa Gading with JAConexxion.
